Ati Radeon Hd 3470 Linux Driver For Mac

So this is my problem. I've built my computer and have had it for a few weeks now. Recently every time I start up the computer after being idle for at least a few hours I get a BSoD. This has been going on for a few weeks now.

So I decided to write down the error message that I am getting on the BSoD. It is as follows: STOP: 0x00000116 then it proceeds to tell me that it is preforming a crash dump and dumping all of my system memory. I googled this and found on a couple of forums that this is conflict between windows and the current driver software for my graphics card. I'm currently using the driver that came with the card on the disk. The problem is that the new drivers that are available on AMD/ATI website are not updating on my computer. I uninstall of the current drivers, restart, then install the new ones i've downloaded. At the end of the installation I click 'finish' then I get an error message saying that there are no drivers installed and that the graphics driver is not functioning properly.

After all of this the only way to get my graphics card working again is to uninstall all of the drivers and the card from the copmuter, restart, then install the old drivers from the disk. This however does not fix the boot up BSoD crash that I am recieving.

Anyone have any suggestions? This is very frustrating on a brand new $1400 computer. So this is my problem.

Azohar3307 For error message 'No ATI graphics driver is installed, or the ATI driver is not functioning properly', have you tried rebooting your PC after the new driver installation? Look in http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=260&threadid=99189. I dont now if this is the right place to ask, But i have a big problem with my setup: Core i7 2600 Saphire hd 6970 Kingston 8 gb (2x4) 1333 Asus P8P67 motherboard The problem is that when iam running 3dmark 11 i get 15000 points, compared to others with the same system its verry low and should be 21000 Physics score is perfect, so the cpu is not the problem, its running on 4,3 ghz.

I have tried everything but i cant get beter performance, if i run benchmark heaven, the result must be 1300 point i get 800 points. If any one can help me its much appreciated!
